Florida Directory
Florida is a state in the southeastern United States. Much of the state is a peninsula that lies between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean and the state has a humid subtropical climate, which brings warm temperatures to the area year round.
Tourism is big business in Florida! The state is home to a number of amusement parks, which account for much of the industry worth around $600 billion. Located in the city of Tampa, the Busch Gardens Entertainment Park is one of the most popular attractions. The Park has an African theme and is divided into eight different areas with thousands of animals living in a natural habitat. Combine this zoo theme with the many thrill rides, restaurants, shops and live entertainment venues, the Busch Gardens is a wonderful day out for the family.
Nearby is the world-famous Walt Disney World's theme and adventure park. Mickey Mouse and all the other Disney characters have been drawing crowds for years. Aside from the four main parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom), there are three water parks, a shopping district, 22 hotels, countless eateries, a police force, transport systems, medical centres, even kennels for the pooch… Walt Disney World isn’t the kind of place you can spend a pleasant day in. It’s the place you’ll spend a week exploring.
Combine all the family fun and entertainment with the year round sunshine and you will find one of the most colorful American vacations.
